Lina
She/Her, Golden Husky, Mid-20sAngelina Aslanov is an Elurran immigrant who came to Salt Bay University on a Track and Field scholarship. After dropping out of school she spends her time doing temp work and living life to the fullest. She currently works as a legal assistant at Escott, Middleton, and Silver.Lina is passionate about running, exercising, hockey, plants, and spending time with her friends.
Cassandra
She/Her, Husky, Early-30sCassandra Lykaios is a Salt Bay City native working at the law firm of Escott, Middleton, and Silver. She's working hard to become a partner and is one of the attorneys Lina is assigned to assist. The pair met briefly when Cassandra was in law school at SBU.Cassandra is focused heavily on her career and often finds her personal life lacking. When she does take some time to get away from work she blows off steam in violent video games.
Mars
He/Him, Silver Shiba, Early-40sMars Silver has lived in Salt Bay City for half his life after moving from his hometown to put some distance between himself and his overbearing sisters. He is a talented attorney and quickly made partner at Escott, Middleton, and Silver. Lina is his legal assistant. Cinnabun is his bondmate.Mars has a focus in corporate and real estate law. He has many connections within Salt Bay City but always reserves time to provide legal help for the less fortunate.
Cinnabun
She/Her, Harlequin Rabbit, Late-30sCinnabun Darling is an award-winning exotic dancer from the province of Blue Water. She performs at the Prey and is often the headliner. She is Mars's bondmate and considers Lina to be a very close friend. That results in some blurring of the lines when it comes to Mars's professional and personal boundaries.Cinna loves to perform aerial silk dances, and when she's not on stage, she's usually in the crowd mixing business and pleasure by enjoying a show while taking notes for her own routines.
The World
Lina's Love Life is set in a fictional, retro-futurism version of the Earth. The story takes place primarily in Salt Bay City and the surrounding areas.
Elurra - A northern nation covered in snow and ice for most of the year. Summers are short, winters are long, and ice sports are super popular. Elurra is known for having isolated villages and towns instead of large metropolises. Its citizens are frequently considered overly polite.Province of Fleur - One of the provinces of the UPW. It boasts a tropical climate, one of the largest coastlines in the world, and is a major hub for tourism and trade. A large amount of corporations call this province home.Salt Bay City - A large, coastal metropolis on the southern tip of Fleur. Salt Bay City is one of the most population dense and diverse cities in the whole UPW.Salt Bay University - A public university in Fleur near the city of Salt Bay known for its strong athletics program, law school, and fine arts department. Some students say it is party school but those that know better realize it is one of the finest educations to be had. SBU offers a great deal of scholarships for athletes and artists.United Provinces of Washington - A large nation made up of many provinces that were formerly sovereign. These sovereign states joined together over 200 years ago for the benefit of all its members. It is geographically south of Elurra and boasts one of the strongest economies in the world.
